Dr. Martin Welp (Co-CEO, IdentPro):
With the step into the USA we meet the needs of our globally operating customers, who often have their headquarters in Europe, but also corresponding branches in the USA. In addition, we will acquire direct customers in the American market. We have already been able to implement a perfect example with the Dupont supplier Jaco. Personally, I am particularly pleased that we have reached another milestone in the IdentPro success story with the opening of our office in Charleston. We are particularly encouraged by the current re-industrialization policy of the US.
Strong partnerships for sustainable scale-up
The prestigious American law firm K&L Gates LLP and the international marketing agency Blueion were brought on board to establish the new organization. Erik van Rikxoort will take over the management of the new company, which will operate and control further operations directly from Charleston. Previously, he was responsible for Key Account Management at IdentPro and has advised numerous global companies and corporations.
Erik van Rikxoort (President CEO, IdentPro-USA):
With the opening of our office in the US we will have a stable base in the USA, this will enable IdentPro to support our customers in the US. The choice of Charleston, is positioning us in the fastest growing tech industry in the US and will help us to support our US based customers even better. Also for our European customers we will be a better partner by giving them the high level of support in the USA as they receive from us in Europe. I am proud of being appointment as President CEO and looking forward of making the US successful!
A location with strategic and industrial advantage
Charleston is an important and historic center for green tech companies and is characterized by American future industries that are based in the area. This concentration of companies is working to make the world a more global place. The attractive environment provides access to advanced technology, abundant skilled labor, and excellent cross-transportation infrastructure including a seaport. Connectivity to this central hub allows for proactive and efficient response to U.S. market demand.
Global planning reliability of the supply chain through real-time localization
With the move to the USA, IdentPro is following the vision of digitizing intralogistics sustainably and holistically. The IoT solution with integrated real-time localization ensures full transparency in intralogistics. The connection options to different interfaces not only increase efficiency, but also provide more planning reliability in the entire supply chain. For IdentPro, the new US subsidiary marks the beginning of another important phase in the company’s history.
Michael Wack (Founder & Co-CEO, IdentPro):
We have successfully established our products in the German and European markets. As a pioneer for digital twins in intralogistics, we are now very excited to make the products and solutions available to the US market as well. We are already looking forward to the experience in this huge market.
