Initial situation
A+C Plastic produces 25,000 tonnes per year of high quality industrial packaging from LDPE film on modern extrusion lines. As one of the most advanced production facilities in Europe, A+C Plastic offers customised and demand-driven solutions for all major industries.
A large number of products and product variants are manufactured in multi-stage production processes. Residual quantities are stored for reuse. Semi-finished and finished products are weighed. The premises have grown organically and are therefore extensive. Loading takes place outdoors.
The goal
Permanent and reliable inventory transparency and centrally controlled, paperless loading were at the forefront of the optimisation tasks for A+C Plastic. Furthermore, they wanted to significantly facilitate the traceability of goods and enable goods to be located directly according to specific criteria. The Warehouse Execution System by IdentPro is based exclusively on natural environmental features, which made it much easier to introduce the system in the labyrinthine site.
